       Sorry! couldn't reply early! 

1) Cup noodles would be safe bet. if youare vegeterian.
2) You get more FISH there.. RAW/STEAMED.
3) Rice shouldn't be a problem.

It depends on the place where her stays. if he has a kitchen.. he can boil rice in the Milk cooker and have the 

1) MTR ready made chicken/vegetable
2) Prampara.. Chicken varieties - Microwaveable pack..
         Unpack, mix with curd, little water & microwave to get chicken for 2 days!!!!
3) Lot of Kellogs/cereals for morning.. we even get that in Japan.. no issues.. but indian would be his falvor!!!
